Default Condition Stacking?

I have a Mesmer/Necromancer and I was thinking that it might benefit PvE teams if I had a condition stacking build as an alternative to my usual anti-caster interrupt setup.

But I do not have the expertise to put this together. Perhaps this would be better as a Necromance/Mesmer with really high death/blood magic?

Some skills that might work:

Virulence (elite) (Death Magic)
Plague Sending (Curses)
Epidemic (No Attribute)
Skill for health recovery to offset Plague Sending as Mesmer is kind of squishy

And to start the conditions:

How about Enfeebling Blood? Or illusion of haste (cripple)? Signet of Agony?

Followed by Virulence, but without high Death Magic, I am not sure how useful it would be because the conditions would only last a few seconds.

decide: will you be stacking conditions on yourself, then moving them to another person, or are you going to stack them on someone else then epidemic it to others nearby?

You probably can't do both effectively in the same build.

As to the decision you mentioned? I have no idea. Which would be more effective? Or is it just a question of focus?

This stacking conditions concept may not be very useful in PvE, I do not know.

But I am trying to come up with a build that negatively impacts lots of creatures so that my group can gain benefit. My interrupt build is focused primarily on interrupting 1 or 2 monsters and I do not feel that it is particularly helpful.

I forgot to mention Signet of Midnight in the first post: that might be useful too.

And some really smart person told me a moment ago that I phantom pain followed by shattered delusions creates a deep wound which can be spread with Virulence. Maybe that would be a good basis for the build?

well... you could go for a fragility look-alike build... something like this:
1. phantom pain
2. shatter delutions (doesnt have to be high attribute)
3. virulence
4. epidemic

my idea of the best condition spammer for pve, though, is a R/N. something like this:
1. barbed trap (cripple + bleeding)
2. dust trap (blindeness - the best pve condition imo)
3. flame trap (good damage)
4. enfeebling blood
5. virulence

but since traps are weakened by the update, i would go with r/me:
1. epidemic
2. pin down
3. hunter's shot
4. concussion shot
5. poison arrow
6. throw dirt

hope it helps

This is what I do with my Me/N -

I start with enfeeble (5 energy, single target spell)
then Virulence
Then Epidemic.

This should spread pain (weakness, poison, disease) amongst a fairly large sized mob (8U - just smaller than a Ward).

Pair this with a "Victory is Mine" tank, and they will love you.

The above three spells tend to be a steep energy drainer, so I usually pack inspired hex or some other energy recovery means while virulence is recharging.

If you are taking out a single target (boss), you can skip the epidemic step.

For this build, I like to pump up curses so that enfeeble/virulence give about 10 seconds of coverage.

We've been running Sword W/R in tombs lately to stack condition degen.

Apply Poison
Severe Artery
Hamstring

and a mesmer running epidemic. It's a pretty good counter for IWAY as it still leaves the warriors with -3 HP regen.
